Eerie wide shot on a moonlit sea, gentle swells rolling under a pale sky, a small wooden boat with a single mast bobbing in the middle distance, men inside hunched and rowing hard. Camera is positioned low over the water surface, drifting slowly left to right, water droplets streaking the lens. A robed figure walks steadily across the water from the right edge of frame, feet pressing ripples into the surface, robe hem trailing just above the waves. Camera pushes in and rises slightly as the figure nears the boat and the rowers stop, oars frozen mid-stroke, one man leaning over the side with an outstretched hand.
