John 9: Healing the Blind Man

John 9

Cinematic 16:9 shot, 6 seconds. A dusty street in Jerusalem. Jesus kneels beside a man blind from birth. He spits on the ground, makes mud, and applies it to the man's eyes. The camera is at a close-up of the man's face, then pulls back as Jesus tells him to go wash in the Pool of Siloam. The camera follows the man as he stumbles toward the pool, then submerges. The shot ends with the man emerging, his eyes open, looking around in wonder at the world for the first time.
