John 19: The Crucifixion

John 19

Cinematic 16:9 shot, 6 seconds. Golgotha, a hill outside Jerusalem, under a dark, stormy sky. Three crosses stand, with Jesus on the center one. The camera is at a wide shot, then slowly zooms in on Jesus. He speaks to his mother and the beloved disciple, then says, 'It is finished.' The camera focuses on his face as he bows his head. The shot ends with a close-up of his lifeless face, the sky darkening further.
