Dagon Falls

1. Samuel

Cinematic 16:9 shot inside the temple of Dagon in Ashdod. The Philistine idol Dagon stands tall, then suddenly topples forward, breaking into pieces before the Ark of the Lord. Camera is positioned at a low angle, looking up at the idol, then quickly tilts down as it falls, revealing the Ark in the foreground. Priests and worshippers recoil in terror. Lighting is dim, with torches casting flickering shadows. Composition emphasizes the contrast between the fallen idol and the untouched Ark. The shot ends with the idol's head rolling to a stop. 24mm lens, deep focus, dramatic movement.
