Israel Demands a King

1. Samuel

Cinematic 16:9 shot in the town square of Ramah. A crowd of Israelite elders confronts the prophet Samuel, demanding a king. Camera is at eye level, moving through the crowd, then focuses on Samuel's troubled face. He stands on a raised platform, hands raised in protest. Lighting is overcast, with a tense atmosphere. Composition uses the crowd to frame Samuel. The shot ends as Samuel turns away, shaking his head. 50mm lens, handheld, documentary style.
