Saul's Death

1. Samuel

Cinematic 16:9 shot on Mount Gilboa. Saul, wounded, leans on his sword as Philistine soldiers close in. Camera is at a high angle, looking down at Saul, then descends to eye level as he falls on his sword. Lighting is overcast, with a somber tone. Composition places Saul in the center, with the battle raging in the background. The shot ends as Saul collapses. 50mm lens, steady, tragic.
