Mark 11 — The Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem

Mark 11

Sweeping tracking shot down a narrow stone street of first-century Jerusalem packed with a cheering crowd, cloaks and palm branches laid across the paving stones. Camera moves forward at chest height ahead of a man riding a young donkey, retreating as he advances, the crowd pressing in from both sides, hands waving branches. Buildings of pale limestone rise on either side, laundry lines overhead, dust and heat shimmer. Camera rises slightly on a jib as the street opens toward the temple mount in the distance. Final beat: the rider passes directly under the lens and the camera tilts down to the trampled branches on the stones. 16:9, deep focus, bright morning light, dynamic crowd motion.
