The Collection for the Saints

Cinematic medium-wide shot inside a modest Corinthian house courtyard at first light, 16:9 widescreen. A small wooden chest sits open on a low stone table, and believers in simple tunics approach one by one to place coins and folded cloth into it. Camera begins low behind the chest at table height, framing the hands and the growing pile of offerings, then rises slowly on a crane and drifts left to reveal the line of givers and the courtyard's olive tree. Cool dawn light rakes across the flagstones, a clay lamp still burns beside the chest, dust drifts in the air. The camera settles wide as the last giver steps back and the group bows their heads together.
