The Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem

Cinematic 16:9 shot on the dusty road descending the Mount of Olives toward Jerusalem at morning. Jesus rides a young donkey, cloaks spread beneath its hooves, while a jubilant crowd waves palm branches and lays garments on the path. Camera is a low tracking shot moving backward ahead of the donkey, then rising to reveal the city walls and the golden Temple in the distance. Bright spring sunlight, dust kicked up by the crowd, palm fronds waving. Composition leads the eye from the donkey up the road to the city. People shout and press close. Ends on Jesus' sorrowful expression as he looks toward the city.
