The Parable of Spilled Water

2 Samuel 14:14

Cinematic symbolic shot: water being poured out on dry ground, soaking in and disappearing, illustrating the woman's words: 'For we must needs die, and are as water spilt on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again.' Camera low angle, tracking the water's absorption. Then cut to the woman speaking to King David, her expression earnest. Soft, natural light. Natural sound: water trickling, then her voice, and the king's silence. 16:9 widescreen, live action, 720p, 6 seconds. no music, diegetic sound only
