Agony in Gethsemane

Revelation of John

Cinematic close-up of Jesus kneeling in prayer among ancient olive trees at night. Sweat like drops of blood on his brow. Camera starts at a low angle near the ground, slowly rises and circles around him, ending on a medium shot of his anguished face lifted to heaven. Moonlight filtering through branches, deep shadows, mist. 85mm lens, shallow depth of field. Ending beat: an angel appears in the background, strengthening him, then fades as Jesus stands.
