The Foundation Stone

Cinematic extreme close-up of a mason's weathered hands setting a rough-hewn cornerstone into freshly dug earth at a building site in ancient Corinth, 16:9 widescreen. Dust and grit cling to the stone's surface as the mason taps it level with a wooden mallet, then wipes sweat from his brow. Camera begins low at ground level, framing only the hands and stone, then rises slowly along the mason's arm to reveal his focused face and the half-built wall behind him, other workers carrying timber in the background. Warm morning sunlight rakes across the site, long shadows of scaffolding fall across the ground. The camera ends on the cornerstone seated true as the mason nods in satisfaction.
