John 21: Breakfast on the Beach

John 21

Cinematic 16:9 shot, 6 seconds. The Sea of Galilee at dawn. The disciples are in a boat, fishing, but catching nothing. Jesus stands on the shore, but they do not recognize him. He tells them to cast the net on the right side. They do, and catch a multitude of fish. The camera is at a wide shot of the boat, then zooms in on Jesus on the shore. The disciple whom Jesus loved says, 'It is the Lord!' Peter jumps into the water and swims to shore. The shot ends with Jesus and the disciples gathered around a charcoal fire, eating bread and fish, as Jesus reinstates Peter.
