Zacchaeus in the Sycamore Tree

Giosuè

Cinematic 16:9 shot in Jericho, a crowded street. Camera starts high in a sycamore tree, looking down at Zacchaeus, a small tax collector perched on a branch. Jesus approaches below, looks up, and calls him by name. Camera follows Zacchaeus as he scrambles down, joyfully. Jesus takes his arm, and they walk toward Zacchaeus' house. Ends with Zacchaeus promising to give half his goods to the poor, the crowd murmuring, camera pulling back to show the house and the setting sun.
