Il Battesimo di Gesù

Matteo

Cinematic 16:9 shot, 6 seconds. Exterior of the Jordan River, bright midday. Jesus stands waist-deep in the water, wearing a simple linen garment. John the Baptist, clad in camel hair with a leather belt, stands beside him, his hand on Jesus' shoulder. Camera is positioned at water level, close to the surface, then slowly rises and pulls back to a medium-wide shot as John immerses Jesus. The water ripples and splashes. As Jesus emerges, the sky opens and a dove descends in a beam of light. The shot ends with Jesus looking upward, water streaming from his hair.
