The Roman Christians Gather in a Catacomb

A first-century underground catacomb: a small group of Christians, fully clothed in simple robes, gather around a stone slab lit by several oil lamps, sharing bread and wine. The camera begins as a high-angle wide shot of the gathering, the tunnel receding into darkness, then slowly descends and moves between two figures to a medium shot of an older man lifting a clay cup. The camera arcs around the group, catching faces illuminated by lamplight. The camera ends on a close-up of hands breaking bread, the shadow of a cross cast on the wall behind. Cinematic, warm lamplight, reverent, 16:9.
