The Crucifixion

マタイによる福音書

Jesus hangs on the cross at Golgotha, under a dark, stormy sky. The camera is at a low angle, looking up at the cross, emphasizing its height. The composition is stark, with the cross centered against the dark clouds. Lightning flashes, and rain begins to fall. The shot ends with Jesus bowing his head.
