Mark 14 — Betrayal and Arrest

Mark 14

Chaotic handheld medium shot in a torch-lit olive grove just after midnight: camera jostles at shoulder height through a surging crowd of temple guards in leather armor, torches throwing wild orange light and deep shadow. A man in a pale robe is seized by the arms; another man lunges forward with a short blade, and a servant staggers back clutching his ear, blood on his fingers. Camera whips between faces — fear, fury, confusion — then steadies briefly on the arrested man's calm, unreadable expression as ropes bind his wrists. Torch smoke drifts across the lens; the shot ends as the crowd drags him away and the camera holds on the empty grove, torches receding into darkness.
