Paul Under House Arrest in Rome

A first-century Roman house in Rome: Paul, an older man with a beard, sits at a wooden table, a chain from his wrist to a Roman soldier beside him. The camera begins as a high-angle close-up of a parchment scroll and quill on the table, then tilts up and pulls back to a medium shot of Paul writing, the soldier bored. The camera slowly orbits to Paul's face, lit by a single oil lamp, as he pauses and looks up. The camera ends on a close-up of the chain links, then Paul's hand continuing to write. Cinematic, warm lamplight, intimate, 16:9.
