David Spares Saul

1 Самуїла

Cinematic 16:9 shot inside a dark cave at En-gedi. Saul sleeps, his spear stuck in the ground. David creeps forward, knife in hand, but cuts off a piece of Saul's robe instead. Camera is at a low angle, close to the ground, moving stealthily with David, then focuses on his face as he decides to spare Saul. Lighting is minimal, with a single shaft of light from the cave entrance. Composition emphasizes the tension. The shot ends as David backs away, holding the cloth. 35mm lens, handheld, tense.
