The Raising of Lazarus

Cinematic 16:9 shot, 6 seconds. A rocky tomb outside Bethany. Jesus stands before the tomb, with Martha and Mary and a crowd. Camera starts with a wide shot of the tomb entrance, then slowly pushes in to a medium shot of Jesus, who commands, 'Lazarus, come out!' The camera then moves to the tomb entrance as Lazarus emerges, wrapped in burial cloths. The scene ends with Lazarus standing, alive, and Jesus saying, 'Unbind him.' Lighting: overcast, dramatic. Mood: power over death, hope.
