The Angel Appears to Gideon Under the Oak

士师记

Cinematic 16:9 shot, 1920x1080. An ancient oak tree at midday in a dusty threshing floor. A young man in a simple tunic beats wheat in a winepress to hide it. The camera starts on a high-angle wide shot of the threshing floor, then descends on a jib to eye level as an angel in white robes sits beneath the oak, his form subtly glowing. The man stops, startled, and the camera orbits the two as the angel raises a hand in greeting. Sunlight filters through the leaves, casting dappled shadows. The shot ends on a close-up of the man's awed face, the angel's glow reflected in his eyes.
