The Viper on Paul's Hand

A first-century beach fire at dusk: Paul, fully clothed in a wet tunic, holds his hand over the flames when a viper latches onto his wrist. The camera begins as an extreme close-up of the snake's coils around his hand, then slowly pulls back to a medium shot of Paul's calm face as he shakes the creature into the fire. The camera arcs around to the shocked faces of the islanders watching. The camera ends on a close-up of Paul's unharmed hand, turning it over, no wound visible. Cinematic, firelight, dramatic, 16:9.
