The Roman Christians Meet Paul on the Appian Way

The Appian Way outside Rome at midday: a group of Roman Christians in simple tunics and stolas stand waiting as Paul, escorted by two soldiers, approaches on foot. The camera begins as a low-angle wide shot from behind the waiting group, then tracks forward alongside Paul as he sees them and his face breaks into a smile. The camera arcs around to a medium shot of the group rushing forward to embrace him. The camera ends on a close-up of Paul clasping hands with an older woman, both laughing. Cinematic, bright natural light, 16:9.
