Paul and Barnabas Mistaken for Gods in Lystra

A first-century rural marketplace in Lystra: a crowd of villagers in rough wool tunics surrounds Paul and Barnabas, some kneeling, others holding garlands of flowers and a small clay bull figurine. The camera begins as a low-angle wide shot from behind the kneeling villagers, looking up at Paul and Barnabas, who tear their robes in distress. The camera pushes through the crowd to a medium shot of Paul raising his hands, shaking his head. The camera arcs around to a close-up of a villager's confused, reverent face. The camera ends on the discarded bull figurine lying in the dust as Paul steps over it. Cinematic, harsh daylight, 16:9.
